The picnic area is laid out nicely and enough room to take your dogs for a good walk.
This rest area is amazing. Not only is it huge but it is also kept very clean and safe. From the clean bathrooms to the vending machines that have pretty much anything you would want to snack on during a road trip this rest area seems more like a nice big Park you would go to for a picnic. My daughter and I had a great time just walking around during our trip.
We stop here every time we come to Louisiana after an almost 4 hr drive from our home. The place is always clean and stocked for the weary travelers and Road Warriors. The Welcome Center has numerous restrooms setup on both sides of the building and restrooms for handicap and family use. The restrooms are made of stainless steel, so I see these lasting along time with all the use they will be taking.
I will suggest that you do make your way inside the visitors area and get yourself a cup of strong FREE Coffee and look at the attractions Louisiana has to offer. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you make the most of your visit and directions.
This is a nice rest stop. The bathrooms are clean. The vending machines have a good variety and the visitor center is very helpful. Highly recommend.
Nice rest area. Probably as nice as they come. Great truck parking with plenty of room. The car side also had plentiful parking. Inside is a huge open space, a shop with tourist flyers, vending machines, and huge restrooms. I definitely recommend that you stop here to rest.
I always stop and sign the book. Restrooms are clean with plenty of soap in dispensers. The baby changing station is always clean and sanitized.
